Themis Computer Announces NATO TEMPEST Certification of its
Rugged Enterprise Servers
11/13/2008 Fremont, CA - Themis Computer®
announced that its RES-22DCX and RES-32DCX servers
were successfully tested for NATO TEMPEST certification without
the use of an external enclosure. Themis' Rugged Enterprise
Servers (RES) 2RU and 3RU systems were selected for use in
a surveillance program that requires TEMPEST Zone 2 certification.
As a result of the successful testing and certification for
compromising emanations (CE) conformity, these servers are
qualified in for use within Facility Zone 2 deployments by
the Federal Office for Information Security.

has announced a new family of, high performance 1RU servers
for mission-critical applications. Themis' new 1RU Rugged
Enterprise Servers (RES) combine the latest Intel® Xeon®
64-bit quad-core processors with the ruggedized design features
of the Themis RES server family. Designed to perform in environments
where other systems fail, these new servers blend the latest
processor technologies with Themis' proprietary thermal and
mechanical design to deliver outstanding performance and reliability.
All of Themis' new servers support the Linux®, Sun®
Solaris and Windows® Operating Systems, to run a
wide variety of user applications.
Themis Computer to Join VITA Organization Board of Directors

announced today that the company has joined the VITA organization's
board of directors. William E. Kehret, president and CEO of
Themis Computer was appointed to the VITA board of directors
effective March 1, 2008. William "Bill" Kehret will
fill a position in VITA's expanded board membership. The appointment
of Bill Kehret reflects the organization's desire to strengthen
its executive ranks and Bill's vision will help VITA to continue
its leadership role in the embedded computing market.
