Themis Computer Announces New Dual-Core AMD and Intel-based Rugged Enterprise Servers
Themis' new 2RU and 3RU dual-core processor
servers provide enhanced technologies for even faster performance,

3, 2007 --- Themis Computer has announced four new, high performance
2RU and 3RU Dual-Core AMD Opteron® and Dual-Core
Intel® Xeon®-based servers for mission-critical applications.
Themis' new 2 RU and 3RU Rugged Enterprise Servers (RES) combine
the latest AMD and Intel 64-bit processors, with the design
features of the Themis Rugged Enterprise Server family. Designed
to keep operating in environments where other systems fail,
Themis' new servers blend the latest processor technologies
with Themis' proprietary thermal and mechanical design to
deliver outstanding performance and reliability. To ensure
reliable operation in harsh environments, Themis' rugged new
servers are designed to withstand shock loads to 25G. All
of Themis' new servers support the Linux®, Sun® Solaris,
and Windows®, Operating Systems to run a wide variety
of user applications.

Themis' New AMD Dual-Core Opteron Based Servers
The new RES-22DCO and the
RES-32DCO servers may be configured
with one or two dual-core Opteron Series 2000 processors, AMD's
exclusive Direct Connect Architecture, Hyper Transport technology,
Simultaneous 32- and 64-bit computing, and AMD PowerNow technology.
Themis' RES-22DCO and RES-32DCO servers offer outstanding system
compute and I/O performance, dependability, and value. The new
nVidia MCP55-Pro and NEC 720400 chipset represents the latest
in server architecture, providing the highest possible performance
and scalability via the system's Hyper Transport Technology.
The MCP55-Pro is the central hub for all data that passes through
the core system elements and delivers high bandwidth across
a 1000MHz Hyper Transport bus. The NEC 720400 is a PCI-Express
to PCI-X bridge. System expansion versatility provides ample
headroom for integration with current and future server platforms.
The RES-22DCO and RES-32DCO are easily expanded through the
addition of commercially available, off the shelf networking
cards, graphics, I/O, peripherals and other value-added options
to meet current and future system requirements. Designed for
mission-critical applications, these servers feature Themis'
advanced thermal and mechanical design that can provide high
reliability in shock and vibration environments of up to 25G.
RES-22DCO
Themis' new RES-22DCO, a 2RU dual-processor server, can be
configured with one or two AMD Dual-Core Series 2000 Opteron
processors. Featuring three I/O expansion slots, extensive
high speed I/O, and multiple storage options, the RES-22DCO
offers users versatile configuration and system expansion

RES-32DCO offers users versatile configuration and system
expansion options.

Themis engineered the new RES-22DCX and the RES-32DCX
servers for configurability with one or two low power, low
voltage Dual-Core Intel Xeon processors. Featuring multiple
expansion slots, extensive high speed I/O, and multiple storage
options the RES-22DCX and RES-32DCX offers users versatile
configuration and system expansion options. The addition of
commercially available, off the shelf networking cards, graphics,
I/O, peripherals and other value-added options provides users
even greater flexibility in meeting current and future system
requirements. Designed for mission-critical applications,
both servers feature Themis' advanced thermal and mechanical
design that can provide high reliability in shock and vibration
environments of up to 25G.

Themis' new RES-22DCX, a dual-processor server, combines the
robust design of the 2RU RES family with the latest low power,
low-voltage, dual socket, Dual-Core Intel Xeon processing
power. Featuring three I/O expansion slots, extensive high
speed I/O, and multiple storage options, the RES-22DCX offers
users versatile configuration and system expansion options.

power. The rugged RES-32DCX reflects Themis' extensive expertise
designing high performance systems for use in demanding environments.
This new system combines the Intel Dual-Core Xeon (Woodcrest)
processor and the Intel 5000X (Greencreek) chipset, along
with Themis' advanced thermal and mechanical design techniques
to achieve I/O configuration flexibility and high reliability
in shock and vibration environments of up to 25G.
