Themis’ RES-32XR3™, 3 Rack Unit (3RU) servers in two chassis depths, combines the robust design of its Rugged Enterprise Server (RES) family with the latest four and six core Intel® Xeon® processors. The rugged RES-32XR3 reflects Themis’ extensive expertise designing high performance systems for use in demanding environments. This new system combines the Intel Xeon processors with Themis’ advanced thermal and mechanical design techniques to achieve I/O configuration flexibility and high reliability in shock and vibration environments of up to 35G.

The RES-32XR3 can be configured with one or two Intel 5500 or 5600 Series Processors. Featuring multiple expansion slots, extensive high speed I/O, and multiple storage options the RES-32XR3 allows users versatile configurability and system expansion. The RES-32XR3 is easily expanded through the addition of commercially available, off the shelf networking cards, I/O, peripherals and other value-added options to meet current and future system requirements.

To ensure reliable operation in harsh environments, Themis designed the new systems to withstand shock loads of 35G and deliver outstanding performance, flexibility and reliability. These new servers offer a front panel filter door option, NEBS particulate filter media.
